Introduction White powder,density3.35.It can absorb carbon dioxide when put in the air and change into calcium carbonate.It dissolves easily in acid and hard in water,but can be combined with water into calcium hydroxide.
Usage Widely used in calcium carbide, liquid alkali,bleaching powder,chemical industry,plastics,metallurgy,precess hides,effluent handling,architecture, agriculture and smoke desulphured etc.
